The first ski lifts in Gstaad will open on 22 November 2025, subject to favourable snow conditions. Under “Operating Dates” you’ll find all opening dates, and under “Live Info”, real-time updates on the ski areas.

Simply check Live Info to see which areas are currently open.

The free EchoSOS emergency app allows you to easily make an emergency call worldwide. It displays country-specific emergency numbers and automatically transmits your location.

No, the app will also transmit your location via SMS to www.echosos.com if there is no or weak internet reception. However, a stable network is required to make the call.

Starting this winter, day passes will no longer have dynamic pricing. Instead, fixed daily prices will apply. These may vary slightly depending on the day of the week (e.g. cheaper on weekdays) and the season (e.g. low vs. high season).

For multi-day passes, dynamic pricing remains in place. This means prices are calculated daily and depend on various factors such as season, weekday, demand, and weather or slope conditions. The earlier you book your ski pass, the more you can save. Booking early always pays off.

Children under 6 years old travel for free when accompanied by an adult. However, a ticket is required to pass through the turnstiles, which you can obtain free of charge at our ticket counters.

Children must be at least 1.25 meters tall to ride the chairlift alone. Smaller children must ride with an adult.

Issued and booked ski tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged.

We reduce emissions from skiing activities in collaboration with our partner Climeworks. For more information, visit our Sustainability page.

With the SBB General Pass or the Half-Fare Travelcard, you can travel at reduced prices, while children under 6 years old can travel for free when accompanied by an adult. Please note that discounts for the GA and Half-Fare Travelcard apply only to single and return tickets and not to winter sports activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and sledding.

Accessibility for wheelchair users may vary depending on the gondola. Please inquire in advance about accessibility guidelines or contact us for more information.
