G4 Eggli Loop

This easy MTB circular tour offers you magnificent views over the Saanenland and the Gstaad mountains. Experienced single trail fans can alternatively take the trail directly under the cable car via Chälweid back to Gstaad. In spring and autumn, you can comfortably take the bike on the cable car to the Eggli.

B12 Wispile - Brüchli Trail

Experience a panoramic bike trail over the Wispile ridge and the Chrine Pass to the idyllic mountain village of Lauenen. The moderately difficult route runs mostly on single trails. The cable car takes you relaxed to the start on the Wispile, the bike transport is free of charge.

B10 Bergbahnen Tour

Experience a spectacular round trip from the Wispile to Lauenen, on via Gstaad to Schönried and up to the Horneggli. The panoramic trail takes you over flowing single trails, alpine paths and varied routes before returning to Gstaad. Perfect for those who want to combine nature and action.

Questions about biking

Bike transport is possible and free of charge on the following mountain railways (except Sanetsch):

  • Zweisimmen – Rinderberg
  • Schönried – Horneggli
  • Gstaad – Wispile
  • Rougemont – La Videmanette
  • Gstaad – Eggli
  • Gsteig – Sanetsch (Transport CHF 9.00) 

Please note that bike transport varies depending on the cable car and seasonal operating hours and there may be waiting times. It is advisable to find out in advance about the current opening hours.

On the Eggli and Videmanette, you can easily take your bike into the gondola.

On the Rinderberg, your bike is hung on the outside of the gondola.

On the Wispile and Horneggli, transport is via a transport railway. Depending on the operation, this can result in waiting times of up to 20 minutes. Please plan this into your tour.
 

You can transport your bike comfortably with the Montreux Oberland Bahn and PostBus.

The transport of bikes is subject to a fee. Bike transport is NOT possible on the Goldenpass Panorama Express trains.

With the bike day ticket, you can travel flexibly all day long and explore the region according to your riding style. The mountain railways take you and your bike comfortably to the top so that you can save your energy to master the varied routes.

In the bike shops in the region, you can expect a top selection, first-class advice and high-quality equipment - whether you want to rent a bike or optimise your own. 

Bike-Energy charging stations are available throughout the destination. Depending on the model, you can use different charging cables or simply bring your own. The interactive map shows you where the next station is.

After a dusty tour or a muddy descent, the bike wash on the Horneggli ensures that your bike shines like new in no time at all.

In the destination Gstaad you will find a network of first aid and repair kit stations. The firstboxes contain everything you need to treat minor injuries or get your bike back on track quickly.
