This beautiful alpine hike leads to the village of Rougemont through a rocky and alpine landscape. The trail passes through wild nature, where mountain animals may sometimes be seen – a special moment for those who are observant. A short section of the path is a bit exposed and requires sure footing. A fixed chain is available to help with safety. Halfway along the route, the trail crosses the forest of Les Arses, where an educational path invites visitors to explore. This area is home to special resonance wood, used to make high-quality wooden instruments such as violins. The final part of the hike continues through a peaceful forest, offering a calm and relaxing end to the walk.
