From Zweisimmen station walk to the Rinderberg parking lot. From there you take the mountain railway to the Rinderberg mountain station. After a hike along the official hiking trail, you reach the large Fondue Caquelon, which offers space for up to eight people. Return: you can hike back the same way or hike to the middle station of the Rinderberg, where you can then take the mountain railway down to the valley.

  • Approach

    The Gstaad holiday region is located in the southwest of Switzerland right at the border to the French-speaking part of the country. The region is easily accessible by train or car from the Thun lake region, the Lake Geneva area, and the Greyerzerland. Direct connections to the European high-speed train network and to all international airports in Switzerland guarantee a time-saving and pleasant arrival.
