Experience unforgettable adventures in our destination with the Magic Pass. It opens the doors to the mountain lifts and a wide range of activities – for magic moments. On this page, you’ll find everything you need to know.

In Summer as well as in Winter

The Magic Pass is valid from 1st May 2025 to 30th April 2026 covering the entire summer and winter season. With this versatile annual pass, you enjoy unlimited access to all the facilities of the Gstaad Destination Mountain Railways, including Wasserngrat and Sanetsch. Glacier 3000 is included in winter and can be optionally purchased in summer.

Winter Activities
The Gstaad Mountain Railways offer you enjoyable and varied winter experiences. 200 kilometres of slopes, numerous winter hikes and nine toboggan runs are located in the middle of an impressive mountain backdrop. With the Magic Pass you can experience unlimited fun in the snow in the middle of Gstaad's winter wonderland.

With the Magic Pass, you enjoy unlimited access to 80 ski areas with over 1,500 kilometres of slopes, as well as 37 summer destinations with countless hiking trails and a 1,000 km long mountain bike network. Get your Magic Pass now in the online shop.

Prices

The price of the Magic Pass depends on the sales phase. In the first phase, the price is CHF 419 for adults and CHF 282 for children. Secure your Magic Pass as early as possible to benefit from the unbeatable price. You can find all the information and details on how to purchase your Magic Pass online at magicpass.ch.

Option Baths

The "Baths" option includes admission to various thermal and swimming pools in the partner regions, including the pool (indoor and outdoor) of the Gstaad Sports Centre.

From just one overnight stay in the region Gstaad and Pay-d’Enhaut, you benefit from the numerous advantages of the Gstaad Card or the Pass d'Enhaut. The digital guest cards offer you discounted offers and exclusive bookable experiences as well was free use of public transportation.

Help and FAQs

Do you have questions about the Magic Pass or problems with your order? In our FAQs you will find initial instructions and assistance. You can order your Magic Pass conveniently online at magicpass.ch.  

 

The Magic Pass gives you unlimited access to all mountain railways in Gstaad. These include, among other things, the facilities to discover the high-altitude hike from Horneggli to Rinderberg.

With the additional "Baths" option, the Magic Pass also includes admission to various thermal and swimming pools in the partner regions. In Gstaad, the swimming pool of the sports centre, with indoor and outdoor pools is included.

You can purchase the Magic Pass online on the magicpass.ch website. A step-by-step guide will support you through the ordering process. The Magic Pass can only be purchased online and not at the ticket desks on-site.

The Gstaad Mountain Railways offer several access points to the hiking and skiing areas.

Arrival from Bern, Thun, Spiez: Zweisimmen is the most direct entry point.

Arrival from French-speaking Switzerland Access to the La Videmanette–Eggli area: You can get there via Bulle, Montbovon or Château-d'Oex.

From the Vaud/Valais region, you can cycle via Col du Pillon and Col des Mosses. Access to the Schönried, Saanenmöser, Zweisimmen and St. Stephan area: Via Broc and Charmey and via the Jaun Pass you can reach Zweisimmen, Saanenmöser or Schönried easily.

Arrival from Bern, Thun, Spiez: A direct train connection takes you to Zweisimmen. With the modern GPX train you can travel directly from Interlaken or Spiez to Saanenmöser and Schönried without changing trains. The valley stations are only a few minutes' walk from the train stations.

Access to the La Videmanette–Eggli area: Access is via Bulle, Montbovon and Château-d'Oex. In Montbovon, a transfer time should be accounted for.

Parking is available at all entrance points. The parking guidance system shows the free spaces and directs you to the next available parking option. All parking spaces are subject to a fee.

 

There are mountain restaurants and other catering options in all areas. In addition, barbecue and picnic areas invite you to linger in nature.

 

All current operating data and opening hours can be found on our website as well as on the interactive map. This offers all relevant information for the optimal planning of your hiking or skiing day.

 

Children up to 6 years of age travel free of charge and receive a free pass for use of the facilities at the ticket office. From the age of 6 you can purchase the Magic Pass at a discounted children's rate.

 

Yes, bike transport is possible and free of charge on some mountain railways.
