Skiing & Snowboarding

200 kilometres of ski slopes

The destination Gstaad stands for a variety of winter activities. Skiers and snowboarders appreciate the diverse offer of the various ski areas. Kilometres of slopes, village ski lifts for families and the only glacier ski area in the Bernese Oberland – the Glacier 3000 – make Gstaad the preferred choice for snow lovers.

Our winter sports areas

The Gstaad ski area is spread over several varied sub-areas. On the Rinderberg–Saanersloch–Horneggli, 105 kilometres of slopes and unlimited skiing fun await you. Pleasure skiers love Eggli–La Videmanette with the longest run in the region all the way to Rougemont. Families will find their happiness on the Wispile - the sunny local mountain with gentle slopes and a learning park directly in Gstaad.

Magic Pass

The Magic Pass is valid from 1 May 2025 to 30 April 2026 and is therefore useable for the entire summer and winter season. With this versatile annual pass, you enjoy unlimited access to all facilities of the Bergbahnen Destination Gstaad, including Wasserngrat, Sanetsch and the ski lifts in Gsteig and Lauenen. Glacier 3000 is included in winter and available as an option in summer. So you can experience the mountains in their glory all year round.

When night falls, the mountains take on a particularly magical charm. Under a starry sky and bright floodlights, skiing down the slopes becomes a unique experience, enhanced by music and culinary highlights.

Those seeking a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere will feel at home on the Rinderberg, where numerous mountain restaurants invite you to end the evening in a relaxed setting. Eggli, on the other hand, is perfect for those who appreciate an elegant ambiance. Here, night skiing is combined with an exceptional fondue experience.
