    • You are responsible for route selection as well as for assessing your own experience, performance, and alpine hazards when touring uphill and downhill in alpine terrain.
    • Plan each mountain route carefully and adapt it to your own conditions as well as to the weather and season.
    • The weather in the mountains can change rapidly. Therefore bring suitable clothing and enough provisions and water. Turn back in time if the weather is uncertain.
    • Inform others about the route and, if possible, never go alone.
    • Walking on ski slopes is prohibited.
    • Be considerate of other hikers as well as plants and animals.
    • Observe warning signs that alert to the constant danger in the riverbed and on the banks of watercourses below dams and water intakes.
