Start of the winter season on 28.11.2025

Friday, 28 November 2025, marks the official start of winter: anticipation for freshly groomed slopes fills the Saanenland, as Saanerslochgrat and Hornberg will be in continuous operation from this date onward.

Horneggli will welcome winter sports enthusiasts from 29 November to 14 December 2025, every weekend (Saturday & Sunday). Also starting Saturday, 29 November the sledding run from the Saanersloch mid-station down to the valley will be open.
