Arrival & Parking – Winter 2025/26
For a relaxed arrival, we recommend travelling by public transport. From the Gruyère region, the Train des Neiges takes you directly to Gstaad at weekends. From the Bern and Solothurn regions, hourly services and additional BLS direct trains provide convenient access to Zweisimmen, with onward connections to the ski area. The valley stations are just a few minutes’ walk from the railway stations.
Gstaad’s mountain lifts offer several convenient entry points to the ski area: travelling from Bern, Thun or Spiez, Zweisimmen provides the quickest access. If you are coming from Western Switzerland, you can reach La Videmanette–Eggli via Bulle, Montbovon or Château-d’Oex, or from the Vaud/Valais region via Col du Pillon or Col des Mosses. Access to Schönried, Saanenmöser, Zweisimmen or St. Stephan is easiest via Broc, Charmey and the Jaun Pass. Parking capacities at the entry points have also been expanded this winter.
For those who visit the destination regularly, we offer seasonal parking passes for the Gstaad mountain railways parkings. The Winter Parking Pass 2025/26 is available for CHF 180 from 1 November 2025 at all open ticket offices or at Gstaad Saanenland Tourism. A full-year parking pass will be available from 1 May 2026 for CHF 300. The daily parking fee is CHF 7.
