From 31 August, our restaurant will be closed to external guests from Monday to Wednesday.

The hotel will remain open throughout and will serve dinner to hotel guests.

From Thursday to Sunday, our restaurant will be open as usual to both hotel guests and external guests.

Thursday and Friday: hot meals served from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm to 9.00 pm
Saturday and Sunday: hot meals served from 11.30 am to 9.00 pm

Outside the Rinderberg Railway’s operating hours, you can only reach us by car or by taxi (at your own expense).

Located directly at the Eggweid mid-station, the spacious sun terrace of the Rinderberg Lodge offers stunning views. Inside, warm tones, natural stone, and distinctive wooden elements create a cosy atmosphere – a place to unwind and enjoy, right in the heart of the mountains.

The kitchen combines alpine tradition with seasonal freshness. Regional ingredients from local suppliers, attention to detail, and a variety of dishes.

Lodge Breakfast
Day guests are also warmly invited to start their day with a delightful breakfast in the mountain scenery of Zweisimmen. Look forward to a selection of fresh, regional products from local suppliers – carefully prepared and served in a relaxed atmosphere.
