Experience unforgettable adventures in our holiday region with the Magic Pass. It gives you access to the mountain lifts and a wide range of activities – for moments that last. On this page, you’ll find all the information about prices and how to order.

In summer as in winter

The Magic Pass is valid from May 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027, covering both the entire summer and winter seasons. With this versatile annual pass, you enjoy unlimited access to all lifts of Bergbahnen Destination Gstaad, including Wasserngrat, as well as the ski lifts in Gsteig and Lauenen.

Winter activities
The mountain lifts of Gstaad offer you enjoyable and diverse winter experiences. 200 km of slopes, numerous winter hiking trails, and nine sledging runs are set in the midst of an impressive mountain landscape. With the Magic Pass, you’ll enjoy unlimited snow fun in the heart of the Gstaad winter world.

 

Magic Travel – stress-free to the mountains

From November 1, 2026, Magic Pass holders can travel even more comfortably: five day passes for public transport are directly integrated into your customer account – no traffic jams, no parking stress, just hop on and enjoy. This is made possible through the collaboration with SwissPass Alliance and RailAway.

The prices for the Magic Pass depend on the sales phase. You can find all information and details about purchasing your Magic Pass online at magicpass.ch.

Bathing options

With the “Bathing” option (subject to a fee), admission to various thermal spas and swimming pools in the partner regions is included, such as the indoor pool (indoor and outdoor areas) at the Gstaad Sports Center, excluding the Saanen outdoor pool.

From just one overnight stay in the Gstaad holiday region or Pays-d’Enhaut, you can enjoy numerous benefits with the Gstaad Card or the Pass d’Enhaut. The digital guest cards offer you free use of public transport, discounted offers, and exclusive bookable experiences.

Do you have questions about the Magic Pass or problems with your order? In our FAQs, you’ll find initial guidance and helpful information. You can easily order your Magic Pass online at magicpass.ch.

The Magic Pass gives you unlimited access to all mountain lifts in Gstaad. This includes, among others, the lifts for the panoramic hike from Horneggli to Rinderberg.

With the additional “Bathing” option, the Magic Pass also includes admission to various thermal spas and swimming pools in the partner regions. In Gstaad, this includes the indoor pool at the sports center with both indoor and outdoor areas.

You can purchase your Magic Pass online on the website magicpass.ch. A step-by-step guide will walk you through the ordering process. The Magic Pass can only be purchased online and is not available at on-site ticket offices.

  • Eggli Gstaad – Videmanette Rougemont (entire western sector)
  • Horneggli Schönried – Rinderberg Zweisimmen – St. Stephan (entire eastern sector)
  • Wispile
  • Wasserngrat
  • Glacier 3000 in winter (optional in summer)
  • Ski lifts in Lauenen and Gsteig

The mountain lifts of Gstaad offer several convenient access points to the hiking and ski area.

From Bern, Thun, or Spiez:
Zweisimmen is the most direct and easiest starting point.

Access to the Schönried, Saanenmöser, Zweisimmen, and St. Stephan areas:
Via Broc and Charmey, and over the Jaun Pass, you can most easily reach Zweisimmen, Saanenmöser, or Schönried.

From Western Switzerland:
Access to the La Videmanette–Eggli area:
You can reach it via Bulle, Montbovon, or Château-d’Oex. From the Vaud or Valais region, the best route is via Col du Pillon or Col des Mosses.

From Bern, Thun, or Spiez: 
A direct train connection takes you to Zweisimmen. With the modern GPX train, you can travel without changing trains directly from Interlaken or Spiez to Saanenmöser and Schönried. The valley stations are just a few minutes’ walk from the train stations.

Access to the La Videmanette–Eggli area:
You can travel via Bulle, Montbovon, and Château-d’Oex. Please allow for a transfer in Montbovon.

From November 1, 2026, the Magic Pass includes five day trips with public transport. 

The journeys can be accessed directly via your Magic Pass customer account and allow you to travel to the destination stress-free and without traffic. Further information: Magic Pass – Magic Travel

  • From the Bern area: Hourly direct connections (RE1/R11) from Bern to Zweisimmen with connections towards Gstaad.
  • Seasonal: Additional direct and extra BLS trains, including services from Solothurn.
  • For current connections, please always check the online timetable.

Parking is available at all access points. All parking spaces are subject to a fee.

Yes, parking at the valley stations is subject to a fee. Depending on the location, payment can be made with coins, via app, or with TWINT. Please follow the on-site instructions.

In all areas, you’ll find mountain restaurants and various dining options. In addition, picnic rooms at several mid- and mountain stations invite you to take a break and relax.

You can find all current operating dates and opening hours on our website as well as in the interactive map. It provides all the relevant information you need to plan your perfect hiking or ski day.

Children up to the age of 6 travel free of charge and receive a free pass at the ticket office for using the lifts. From the age of 6, you can purchase the Magic Pass at a reduced child rate.

On request, parents can obtain a Key Card for the entire season at one of our ticket offices for a deposit of CHF 5, allowing your children to access the lifts without having to visit the ticket office every day.

The area is ideal for families. Some slopes are particularly well suited for children and beginners, for example on the Wispile, in the Saanenmöser area, or in the learning park on the Rinderberg. Here, you’ll find easy runs, practice lifts, and dedicated learning areas.

In the Gstaad area, you’ll find numerous winter hiking trails and sledging runs – perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy winter away from the ski slopes.

Yes, bike transport is possible on many mountain lifts and is free of charge.

If you have lost or forgotten your Magic Pass, you can get a replacement card at any open mountain lift ticket office for a fee of CHF 40.–.

Important: This is not possible at the Eggli office.
