Various attractions and further sights around the hut are waiting to be discovered. For example, you will find three climbing gardens, fossils, the picturesque Dürrsee as well as the ascent to the Iffighore or the Schnidejoch (see also variants).

Hiking trail to the Wildhornhütte:
The approach to the Wildhornhütte starts at the idyllic Lauenensee. During the season, the post bus takes us there. The path is quite steep at the beginning, but then flattens somewhat in the Chüetungel area. The highest point of the hike is at 2344 meters above sea level, from there it goes downhill to the Wildhornhütte. (Length: 6.7 km; duration: 4h)
