Medium-length route, partly on natural roads, with an 18 km long climb creating an alpine pass feeling and a gravel section ("Strade Bianche") waiting at the top. The descent to Grubenwald is very steep, narrow, and briefly unpaved. Caution!

  • Approach

    The Gstaad holiday region is located in the southwest of Switzerland, directly on the border with the French-speaking part of the country. The region is easily accessible by train or car from the Thun lake region, the Lake Geneva area, and the Gruyère region. Direct connections to the European high-speed train network and all international airports in Switzerland ensure a time-saving and comfortable arrival. The main means of transport in the Gstaad holiday region are the "MOB" train (Montreux-Oberland Bernois) and numerous PostBus lines.
