Medium-length route, partly on natural roads, with an 18 km long climb that brings an alpine pass feeling and a gravel section («Strade Bianche») awaits at the top. The descent to Grubenwald is very steep, narrow, and briefly unpaved. Caution!

  • Approach

    The Gstaad holiday region is located in the southwest of Switzerland, directly at the border to the French-speaking part of the country. The region is easily accessible by train or car from the Lake Thun region, the Lake Geneva area, and the Gruyère region. Direct connections to the European high-speed train network and all international airports in Switzerland guarantee a time-saving and pleasant arrival. The main means of transport in the Gstaad region are the "MOB" train (Montreux-Oberland Bernois) and numerous postal bus lines.
