At the Feutersoey village bus stop, the path follows the road up to the barrier to Arnensee. The barrier is not passed because from here the trail mostly follows the summer hiking path uphill to Tuxberg. During the ascent, the path leads through a snow-covered fir forest. In the Schwänd area, the trail winds across the meadow to the Alp Schneeweid.

Once at Hindere Walig, you can fully enjoy the peace of nature and the view. A few benches in the middle of the landscape also invite you to linger. Then you return the same way.

  • Approach

The Gstaad holiday region is located in southwestern Switzerland, directly on the border with the French-speaking part of the country. The region is conveniently accessible by train or car from the Thun lake area, the Geneva lake area, and the Gruyère region. Direct connections to the European high-speed rail network and all international airports in Switzerland guarantee a time-saving and comfortable journey. The main means of transport in the Gstaad region are the MOB railway (Montreux-Oberland Bernois) and numerous postbus lines.
