Fishing (state waters) Arnensee
The rainbow trout has no closed season. In the period from 1 November to 31 December, fishing rods may only be fished with one float and one lure with a single hook to a maximum depth of three metres or with a dry fly. Fishing is possible all year round at Lake Arnensee, but the closed seasons for the individual fish species must be observed.
In winter, ice fishing is allowed in Arnensee. In principle, ice fishing is always at your own risk. Inquire about the current avalanche danger before ice fishing:
Attention: Permit required
A patent is required for fishing in state waters. Annual, monthly, weekly and daily patents are available at the tourist offices in Gstaad, Saanen and Schönried.
In general, all fishermen are responsible for ensuring that they comply with the fishing regulations of the Canton of Berne.
